Bowen Shi

Biography

Bowen was raised in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province, China, a region renowned for its mountain vistas, historic temples, and rich Buddhist heritage. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Mathematics at Peking University, focusing on Finite Element Exterior Calculus (FEEC), an interdisciplinary field bridging numerics, analysis, and algebraic topology. Bowen's current research interests lie at the intersection of numerical analysis, statistics, and scientific machine learning. Outside of his academic pursuits, he plays the piano and has a deep passion for classical music.
