Industry Engagement
Our community engages with a broad range of industry partners in fields as diverse as healthcare, biomedical, energy exploration, aerospace and defense, environmental modeling and disaster response, digital twin technology, and high-performance computing. Interested in collaborating? Contact us.
Government Partnerships
The Oden Institute has long standing relationships with various government agencies and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers. Oden Institute faculty serve on advisory boards and review boards for entities such as the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Our faculty have also been called upon to testify in front of both House and Senate Committees.
Academic Research Collaborations
The Oden Institute is a collaborative research community. Our faculty routinely engage in external academic partnerships with individual researchers from national and international institutions. In addition, the institute has signed broader memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with organizations to foster greater research collaboration and cooperation.
Through the J. Tinsley Oden Faculty Fellowship Research Program (Visitors Program), the Oden Institute invites outstanding researchers and scholars from around the world to visit UT Austin to collaborate with institute faculty.
Postdoctoral scholars interested in expanding their knowledge and experience working with the best in their field and recent Ph.D. graduates searching for prestigious fellowships are invited to apply to the Oden Institute for opportunities to perform advanced research in computational engineering, mathematics and sciences.
