Professor Computer Science
Calvin Lin is a University Distinguished Teaching Professor with research interests in computer architecture, compilers, and security. In addition to his technical research, he has led UT's NSF-funded effort to improve high school CS curricula. He is also the Director of the Turing Scholars Honors Program and the longtime coach of UT Men's Ultimate Frisbee team. Calvin received his BS from Princeton and his PhD from the University of Washington.
