Liting grew up in Guangdong, China, before attending University of Cambridge, where she obtained her M.S. and B.A. in Natural Sciences, Physics in 2021. She started the CSEM program in the fall of 2023. Her current research interests include finite element methods, parallel computing, hydrodynamic modeling, infectious disease, and climate change.
