Biography

Xin Tang is a PhD student. She graduated with honors from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. in chemical engineering and computational science and a minor in Japanese. During her time at Rose-Hulman, she worked as a student researcher for several research projects including optimization of production of biochemical products, distillers corn oil hydrogenation, and computational phylogenetics. She is exploring the options for future research but would like to do computational research in the engineering and applied science fields.
