Xin Tang

Biography

Xin Tang started the CSEM program in Fall 2020. She works with Dr. Michael Baldea on the optimization of power grids. She is the Treasurer of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Chapter at UT and a volunteer for UT's Victim Advocate Network (VAN). Before joining CSEM, she graduated with honors from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. in chemical engineering and computational science and a minor in Japanese.
