Biography

Botond started the CSEM PhD program in Fall 2025. He grew up in Hungary before moving to the UK to complete his undergraduate degree in mathematics at University College London. He then obtained a master's degree in mathematical modelling and scientific computing from Oxford University in the UK. His research interests include statistical estimation and nonlinear filtering with applications in aerospace engineering.
