Caroline graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2026 with a PhD in Applied Mathematics, under the supervision of Professor Dongbin Xiu and was a SCGSR fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory during her doctoral training. Caroline is interested developing mathematically-founded machine learning methods for tasks in uncertainty quantification, and topics of interest include data assimilation, parameter estimation, reduced order modeling and surrogate modeling.
