Sharli Nucker
Associate Director, Business Planning and Operations Oden Institute
Biography
Sharli Nucker is the Associate Director for Business Planning and Operations at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences. She joined the Institute in September 2026. In this position, she oversees the Institute’s finance and accounting, systems operations, communications, and programs.
Before joining the Oden Institute, Nucker served as Senior Director of Operations and Planning for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her experience spans strategic planning, financial and administrative operations, organizational leadership, communications, and the implementation of complex initiatives in higher education. Nucker earned a Bachelor of Science in Academic Studies from Sam Houston State University. She is also a Lean Six Sigma green belt.
Outside of work, Nucker enjoys fitness, kayaking, hiking, reading and traveling. She also values time with her husband, their two sons and their three rowdy dogs.
