Youguang Chen is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Ph.D. from UT Austin, where his research focused on scalable computational methods for machine learning, optimization, and Bayesian inverse problems.
His research interests include active learning, experimental design, scientific machine learning, generative modeling, and efficient sampling methods for high-dimensional inverse problems. He is particularly interested in developing mathematically grounded and computationally efficient algorithms for large-scale scientific and engineering problems.
